Bollywood’s Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is all set to attend the upcoming 89th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars on Sunday. Piggy Chops herself confirmed the news recently through social media.
The “Mary Kom” actress took to micro-blogging site Instagram on Friday to announce the good news. She shared the news with her fans while posting a photograph with legendary British singer Mick Jagger.
"Change of plans! Oscars here we come. Mick Jagger LA LA Land," Priyanka wrote alongside the image.
However, this won't be her first time at Oscars.
Priyanka, who got fame in the West through her lead role of Alex Parrish in TV thriller series "Quantico", was one of the presenters at the 88th Academy Awards last year.
Donning a white gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad, Priyanka presented the award for best film editing with Liev Schreiber.
The 89th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
Priyanka won the Favourite Dramatic TV Actress award at the People's Choice Awards 2017. She dedicated the honour to the cast and crew of "Quantico".
It was Priyanka's second People's Choice Award as she bagged her first one in the Favourite Actress in a New TV series category last year for "Quantico", in which she plays Alex Parrish.
