Anushka Sharma inspired by Suniel Shetty

Actress Anushka Sharma says the "super fitness and cool attitude" of senior colleague Suniel Shetty inspires her. Anushka shared her views when Suniel praised her for forthcoming film "Jab Harry met Sejal". "Thank you Suniel Shetty! Your super fitness and cool attitude inspires always," Anushka tweeted. 

The Imtiaz Ali directorial is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. It will showcase actress Anushka essaying the role of a Gujarati girl named Sejal Jhaveri, while Shah Rukh Khan plays a Punjabi guy named Harinder Singh Nehra. The film is set to release on August 4. 

Mika questions how Indian singers get online views

Bollywood and Punjabi singer Mika Singh is puzzled these days. He wonders how Indian singers are getting attention from all quarters on digital media. He cited rapper Nicki Minaj's video titled YMCMB & Beats By Dre Presents: The Pinkprint Movie, and its views as an example. "When an artist such as Nicki Minaj has only 13 million views... I'm surprised how Indian singers are getting so many views," Mika tweeted. 

On the work front, he was in the news for lending his voice to a promotional track of the film "All Eyez On Me" -- a biopic of late American rapper Tupac Shakur. 

Sridevi loves Delhi's 'rich' food

Actress Sridevi, who shot for Mom widely in Delhi, says she loves the city and its foodie delights. We cannot agree more, Ma'am. Delhi is known for lip-smacking street food. "I stayed here in Delhi for one month. I loved the city. I always look forward to visit Delhi and above all, I love the food here. It's so rich," Sridevi said. Mom releases on Friday.

Ranbir Kapoor's life mantra: Stay detached from success and failures

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor says he is always prepared to face failure and he finds himself detached from success. On Wednesday, Ranbir introduced his cousin Aadar Jain, who is going to make his debut with a Yash Raj Films project to be directed by Habib Faisal. The banner will also launch Anya Singh. Before "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", Ranbir had a string of films like "Besharam", "Roy", "Bombay Velvet" and "Tamasha" that didn't do too well.

Asked about how he deals with lows in life, Ranbir told the media here: "People have seen me in the last three years. My first film 'Saawariya' was also a big disaster, so I am always prepared for it. I already said that the God is in the work, and I feel really happy when I am working. "I am quite detached with success and failure of a film, and I wish that Aadar and Anya both at least adapt to that concept."

Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra may come together in Thani Oruvan Hindi remake

The buzz in the industry is that Thani Oruvan will get a hindi remake, and it will be directed by Sabbir Khan. The two lead roles are likely to be played by top Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. The hindi remake of the hit film could be directed by Sabbir Khan. This film had marked the comeback of Arvind Swami that too in a negative role on the big screen. Sabbir Khan has directed movies such as Baaghi, Heropanti, and his next is Munna Michael again starring Tiger Shroff. However, there is no official confirmation of the same.

Ravi Udyawar, who is making his debut with Sridevi's Mom, says the veteran actress elder daughter Jhanvi suggested Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiquis name for the role of a father in the film. "Jhanvi is the one who recommended Adnan Siddiqui's name while we were casting. We were looking for somebody for a father's role and Jhanvi said, ‘I've seen this actor called Adnan Siddiqui, who has done ‘A Mighty Heart' with Angelina Jolie. I had also watched that film, so I looked up for him and we cast him in the film," Udyawar said over phone from Mumbai.
