Priyanka Chopra is back from Italy where she was present with her fiancé Nick Jonas as bridesmaid to Isha Ambani at her engagement. The pictures from the plush resort at Lake Como were doing rounds on the internet. Soon after wrapping up the wedding festivities, PeeCee is back to her homeland to resume work on her upcoming film The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar. On Tuesday, she shared a picture from the sets of the Shonali Bose film in which she can be seen in a Bengali bride avatar. A spotboy is styling her hair with a cloth iron.

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ pictures from Lake Como, Italy were going viral on the internet. In the picture, the newly-engaged couple were seen cosying up on a lounge chair at the resort. Seen with them was Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor who arrived with her husband Anand Ahuja.

On the engagement, Priyanka wore a sheer Manish Malhotra saree and was looking ravishing as usual. Her beau Nick Jonas was also wearing an ethnic attire from Malhotra’s exclusive collection.
Priyanka Chopra was earlier supposed to do Salman Khan’s film Bharat. However, due to her engagement with Nick Jonas, she walked out of the project just a few days before the shooting was schedule to commence. She was later replaced by Katrina Kaif in the Ali Abbas Zafar. Taking a dig at her decision, Salman Khan said in multiple interviews that it was PeeCee who was keen on doing this film. He even went on to say that the Quantico actress called up Arpita Khan Sharma (Salman Khan’s sister) 1,000 times to land herself a role in Bharat.
