New Delhi: Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest actors of the industry. His intense acting has helped him carve a niche for himself and earned him respect from many in the industry. However, recently, Siddiqui made it to the headlines for a rather negative reason.
The ‘Badlapur’ actor reportedly took a jibe at Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone over their Hollywood stint. He made a statement about how one needs a strong agent over talent to make it in Hollywood.
No wonder, the actor had to face wrath by PeeCee and DP’s fans. But now Nawazuddin has come up with a clarification on his statement saying he didn’t aimed it at anyone.
“Yes I do believe that you need a good agent and strong PR machinery to make it in Hollywood. I did say that but it wasn't aimed at anyone. Woh kisike khilaaf nahi tha. It was a generic statement. Of course, one needs to have talent but there are so many talented people out there, who you may not even know of because of lack of exposure. Humari country mein bohot talent hai. Sabko recognition nahi milta,” Nawazuddin reportedly told a leading daily.
Currently, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is busy with two of his forthcoming movies – ‘TE3N’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan, and ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ starring Vicky Kaushal.
