New Delhi: TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee recently shocked everyone after she allegedly ended her life in her Goregaon home in Mumbai on April 1.
Ever since the news of her death broke, a lot of speculations were being made about what made Pratyusha took such a drastic step.
While everyone is pointing fingers at Pratyusha’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, the accused has been constantly claiming that he is innocent.
It was also reported that the diva had ended her life owing to financial crisis.
But Pratyusha’s friends –Kamya Punjabi, Vikas Gupta and Shashank Vyas- have come up with rather shocking revelations about her relationship with Rahul and her suicide in a press conference.
Kamya Punjabi said that “Pratyusha told me Rahul was cheating on her”. Kamya added up saying that a night before her suicide Pratyusha had called her and had stated that she wants to fight back and needs help. She is also skeptical about Pratyusha’s suicide and stated “Being so short at 5 feet 2 inches how can she hang herself”.
Pratyusha’s friend Vikas Gupta has too alleged that the actress didn’t share a healthy relationship with Rahul and wanted to call it quits.
In fact, Kamya and Vikas claims there were injury marks on Pratyusha’s nose, under her eyes and they have evidences for the same.
Vikas recalled saying, “Rahul assaulted Pratyusha in public and there are people who have seen this and ready to testify this.”
On the other hand, Pratyusha’s co-star from ‘Balika Vadhu’ Shashank Vyas finds it hard to believe that the actress ended her life because of financial problem. He stated, “It is not possible that she committed suicide due to financial issues and she was continuously working.”
Vikas also mentioned that Pratyusha had no qualms about her career. He said, “Pratyusha charged very well for her roles. She was doing very well in her career.”
It was also revealed during the press conference that Pratyusha had contacted a lawyer against Rahul around 10 days back and was eager to discuss her case legally.
Advocate Falguni Brahmputra, who is looking after Pratyusha’s suicide case stated that the actress wanted to file a case against Rahul. “Pratyusha had contacted a lawyer. She had an appointment with the lawyer on the day of her suicide. She wanted to seek legal advice as she was getting tortured in some way or the other. A day before her suicide Pratyusha had spoken to Leena Das, and she had narrated how Rahul was torturing her.”
Falguni stated that Pratyusha had mentioned Saloni Sharma’s name and had said she is torturing, assaulting and threatening her. Infact, there has been CCTV footages where Solani is seen attacking Pratyusha in her society. Falguni alleged that Saloni used to visit Pratyusha in Rahul’s absence, and when Pratyusha used to inform Rahul, he used to trick her and used to switch off his phone.
Pratyusha’s friends has urged the police to investigate the entire matter as they assured that each one of them is ready to give their respective statements to the police.
