Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case is getting murkier with each passing day. While her parents are claiming her death was a murder; her boyfriend Raul Raj Singh is constant under police interrogation.
Amid all this, here comes a fresh report which has made the case more mysterious.
According to the forensic chemical analysis from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Kalina, Pratyusha was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when she hung herself from the ceiling fan at her home.
In a statement to a leading daily, a forensic expert who is a part of the investigation said:
The ethyl alcohol content is 140 mg, there have been innumerable cases of people committing suicide after consuming liquor.”
As per the police statement, the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actress was a habitual drinker and was under debt. Further, the investigation revealed that Pratyusha and Raj had organized a party a day before her alleged suicide.

This forensic report is in match with Rahul Raj’s earlier statement to the police. He had said that he had shouted on Pratyusha for drinking in the afternoon, on the day of her death.
We still wonder what really happened that Pratysuha Banerjee took such a drastic step.
