New Delhi: The B-town was recently taken aback after the news of Pratyusha Banerjee’s death broke.
Pratyusha Banerjee, who rose to fame with her role as Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu’ committed suicide in her Goregaon home on April 1.
While no suicide note was found by her side, several speculations are being made about her death.
In fact, her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has also been accused of forcing her to take the drastic step.
Reportedly, Pratyusha and Rahul were having conflicts over a while as the diva speculated that her beau was cheating on her.
While reports are rife that her Rahul has a key role in Pratyusha’s suicide and that the couple didn’t have a healthy realtionship, Arbaaz Khan has a different statement.
Arbaaz, who was the host of celebrity reality show ‘Power Couple’, states that Pratyusha and Rahul looked very much in love.
Arbaaz had met the couple during the show itself, where Pratyusha and Rahul came as participants.
“She was very vibrant. Rahul and Pratyusha were young and new in their relationship, so they had their little moments, ups and downs, as you could see on the show. They looked very much in love,” Arbaaz told a media agency.
“She was a very lovely girl and they were doing well on the show. In fact, in the first week they were on top. It's (Pratyusha's death) a very tragic moment,” he said.
Arbaaz is quite upset with the news of Pratyusha’s demise. He said, “I am very sad. Pratyusha was a young girl. I give my heartfelt condolences to the family. All I can say is I have no idea what was the reason but it was a tragic loss of life.”
