New Delhi: Recently, the entire glam town was stunned after the news of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s death broke to the world.

Pratyusha, who rose to fame as Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu’, allegedly committed suicide in her Goregaon home in Mumbai on April 1, 2016.

The actress was staying there with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, who is the prime suspect of Pratyusha’s suicide case.

So far, the actual reason behind her suicide is not known, but a lot of speculations are being made.

While Pratyusha’s parents are suspecting a foul play in the suicide, Rahul’s parents alleged that the actress didn’t share a cordial relation with her parents.

On the other hand, Pratyusha’s father reportedly stated that, “Rahul and his family used to threaten Pratyusha. They used to say that Rahul's mom is an MLA, which was not true. Pratyusha was terrified.”

According to the media reports, the late actress’ father also recalled his daughter’s last words saying, “She had said that life is currently extremely difficult.”

Currently, Pratyusha’s parents are in a state of shock after the loss of the beloved daughter and are seeking justice in the alleged suicide case.

On the other hand, Rahul Raj Singh has been booked for abetment of suicide by Mumbai police. However, he is still hospitalised following his ill health.
