If you were a huge fan of the popular TV show Hum Paanch, then you are surely in for a sweet surprise. The 90’s comedy serial is all set to make its big comeback soon.
The new season of Hum Paanch will be known as Hum Paanch Phir Se and, will be aired soon, according to a Times of India report.
However, the show will no longer be produced by Ekta Kapoor.

The comedy show will launch various new faces, and the show will give a modern twist to the classic comedy. According to a source, the core details of the original TV show will be maintained.
“We will retain all the intrinsic elements and the format but will give it a modern spin. The production house is in the process of finalising the cast, which will comprise new faces,” the source was quoted by TOI.
Hum Paanch starred Ashok Saraf, Priya Tendulkar, Rakhee Tandon, and Vidya Balan in pivotal roles.
The comedy serial had five sisters with unique personalities trying to get along with their family and the daily drama that follows. One of the most essential elements that made Hum Paanch lovable was the innocence and simplicity of the jokes and the characterisations which helped people to relate.
