Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi will be seen sporting nine different looks in PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on the current Prime Minister. With Vivek in the titular role, the film will trace the journey of Modi, from his humble beginnings to his political rise as the Prime Minister of India.The biopic is being directed by Omung Kumar, who has films such as "Mary Kom" and "Sarbjit" to his credit.
Revealing Vivek Oberoi's nine different avatars for PM Narendra Modi biopic, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "Vivek Anand Oberoi's different looks in the biopic #PMNarendraModi... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit... 12 April 2019 release".
The the first trailer of the film was to be released today, however according IANS, the event was called off due to the demise of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. "We are extremely sorry to inform that the poster launch of our film 'PM Narendra Modi', which was scheduled for March 18, 10.30 am, has been postponed due to the death of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar," a source told IANS.
The first look poster of PM Narendra Modi was unveiled by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis along with Vivek Oberoi, back in January. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 12 and will be released in 23 languages. PM Narendra Modi is produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit.
At the poster launch of the film, Vivek Oberoi said he hopes to become a better person by the end of the shoot. "I am extremely fortunate. Today, I am feeling like I felt 16 years ago, during 'Company' days. I am feeling the same kind of excitement and hunger because this is a role of a lifetime for any actor. I truly believe at the end of the journey, I pray I become a better actor and a better human being," the actor told reporters.
PM Narendra Modi biopic is all set to release on April 12.
