It seems megastar Amitabh Bachchan has grown a particular penchant towards thriller. This year he has already starred in two, ‘Wazir’ and ‘TE3N’ and is ready with a third, ‘Pink’.
For quite some time now ‘Pink’, has been in news owing to the first looks and pictures from the sets. And today the trailer has been released today and it would not be wrong to say that the trailer is completely unexpected.
Revolving around courtroom drama in Delhi, Big B plays a lawyer arguing the case of three girls accused of attempt to murder. The video starts with Big B asking Taapsee Panuu, one of the three girls in the box, is she a virgin?
The trailer then goes on to reflect how victims of sexual assault do not get the proper empathy they should during trail and end up being projected as guilty.
The fast paced sequences and provocative dialogues of the trailer point out the movie will be a nail biting thriller. The violence adds to the spooky element of ‘Pink’.
Directed by National award winning filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, ‘Pink’ is expected to release on September 16. The movie is produced by Shoojit Sircar who has worked with Big B in the 2015 hit ‘Piku’.
