Akanksha Sharma, contestant of season 10 of controversial reality show, Bigg Boss made a lot of buzz during previous season. Now, Akanksha is again hitting headlines as she has filed a case against her in-laws including Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
According to reports, the former Bigg Boss contestant has filed a domestic violence case, the first hearing of which is on October 21. When a news portal, Spotboye asked Akanksha about the same, she chose to be silent, however, her lawyer spoke on the matter. When quizzed about Yuvraj's role in the case, the lawyer said: "Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj. Yuvraj was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zoravar and his mother. "When Yuvraj and Zoravar's mother was pressurising Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj too had joined in to do the same. He too told Akanksha 'to have a baby'.''
Akanksha Sharma who hails from Gurgaon tied the knot with Yuvraj's brother in 2014. However, their relationship immediately turned sour and they separated within four months. Soon after entering Salman Khan's show Akanksha revealed that she left her husband's home as she was being troubled by her mother-in-law. After getting evicted, the contestant opened up about lot of things. Akanksha reportedly said that she was ''married only in paper'' and ''there was nothing in that relationship''. She even went on to say that her ''honeymoon was fixed in Dubai where IPL was taking place'' and called it a family moon.
Akanksha has done acting course from Anupam Kher's institute in Mumbai and was in the city even before participating in Bigg Boss.
