New Delhi: It looks like yesterday only, when the bubbly Parineeti Chopra made her big screen debut with ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ opposite Ranveer Singh.

While everyone went gaga about her carefree attitude and chirpy nature, the actress recently stunned everyone with her commendable transformation.

Parineeti’s recent make-over once again made her the talk of the town. People are not able to get enough of her new sexy and bold avatar.

If this was not enough for the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress, there has been a lot of buzz about her Tollywood debut.

It was reported, that Parineeti will soon be make her south debut opposite south superstar Mahesh Babu.

On the other hand, there have also been reports of her being replaced by newcomer Rakul Preet. While a lot of speculations are being made about the movie, Parineeti thought to clear the air about her big Tollywood debut.

“I’m not sure who said that I was doing the film, but the fact is, there was never an announcement from our side. We never comment on any film till we sign on the dotted line. Maybe the news came from their team. Yes, I was approached for it and discussions were going on… Maybe that’s why it led to the speculation, but one can only make an announcement once you sign it on paper. I never spoke about it. Unfortunately, as much as I would have loved to do it, I can’t because the dates didn’t work out. I am committed to Homi Adjania’s Takadum and another film after that. Having said that, I would like to add that I would love to do South films, but unfortunately, none worked out because of dates or other issues. I would love to do all kinds of cinema, whatever the language,” Parineeti told an entertainment portal.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Mahesh Babu’s yet to be titled movie is said to made with a budget of Rs 100 crores.

The project is slated to go on floors in August and will have music by Harris Jayaraj, will be bankrolled by Tagore Madhu.
