Parineeti Chopra lashes out at media over 'absolutely baseless' wedding report
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra took to Twitter to dismiss rumours of her wedding with 'boyfriend'' Charit Desai. Recently, rumour mills were abuzz with reports about the actress planning to tie the knot with her beau. Refuting reports and calling them 'baseless and untrue', Parineeti wrote, ''will happily announce whenever I am getting married''.
Parineeti and Charit have so far managed to stay away from media glare. They haven't made any public appearance and thus, avoided paparazzi. However, a picture from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's pre-wedding celebration in Mumbai revealed a lot. Charit's presence at the wedding bash caught everyone's attention, thus, sparking the rumours.
As per reports, Parineeti and Charit met during Dream Team Tour in 2016 and hit off well. During the tour, Charit was assigned to make behind-the-scenes videos. He had also assisted Karan Malhotra on Agneepath remake and Ram Gopal Varma on Rann. Recently, he has directed Amaal Mallik's reprised version of Ghar Se Nikalte Hi.
On the professional front, Parineeti has three films lined up- Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Kesari and Jabariya Jodi. In Dibakar Banerjee's Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, she will feature opposite Arjun Kapoor, with whom she was last seen in Namastey England. On the other hand, Kesari starring Akshay Kumar revolves around the Battle of Saragarhi. Meanwhile, Parineeti will reunite with her Hasee Toh Phasee co-star Sidharth Malhotra in Ekta Kapoor's Jabariya Jodi.
