After the haunting first look, Pari teaser is here and, Anushka Sharma is all set to give us sleepy nights. When we talk about Pari or angel, the first thing that comes to our mind is big eyes, beautiful dress and pretty face. But, as we all know Anushka is different and she never ceases to take risk, the actress has donned a completely different and gory avatar for the film. The Pari teaser also revealed the new release date of the film. Earlier it was supposed to hit the cinemas on February 9 but now the film will release on Holi 2018, i.e. on March 2.
A source privy to the company's plans said, “With Padmavat coming in, the producers wanted Pad Man to get a longer run. Releasing two films in a span of two weeks was not deemed wise, so KriArj has deferred the release of Pari to Holi [2 March]. Also, Aiyaary is now coming on 9 February, so there was no point competing with it."
Newlywed Anushka Sharma took to her Twitter handle to share the Pari teaser with a caption that read, “Sweet dreams guys... #HoliWithPari”.
The 18- second long video has a close up shot of Anushka's face which keeps on changing now and then. Blood starts gushing out from her face along with deep cuts and wounds, which looks scary as hell.
In June 2017, Anushka had revealed the first look of the film on social media.
Speaking about Pari , Anushka earlier revealed that she likes to work in the film because as a viewer she also liked that kind of a genre. She added that in India people love to watch horror movies and this genre has a potential. Anushka believes that horrors films are not only about ghosts in closets and they are much more than this.
Pari is being helmed by Prosit Ray. Actor Parambrata Chatterjee will also be seen sharing the screen space with Anushka Sharma. He has earlier worked with Vidya Balan in Kahaani.
