Actress Anushka Sharma is heaped with praises for her powerful performance in Pari but unfortunately, despite the Holi release, the film didn’t witness a great start. The horror film minted Rs 4.36 on its opening day but seems like the positive word-of-mouth has helped the film. Pari has witnessed growth on its second day. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the movie has earned Rs 5.24 cr on the second day and the two days collection of the film now stands at Rs 9.60 cr.
The team of the film has already warned that it is not a fairy tale and people on social media are calling it one of the best horror films made in Bollywood. Along with acting, Anushka has also bankrolled the project. It is being said that that the major cost of the production has been recovered. The collection of the film is expected to grow in coming days.
This is the third film produced by Anushka’s Clean State Films after NH10 and Phillauri.
On a related note, along with Anushka, the film also features Parambrata Chatterjee and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles. The actress is currently occupied with the work of Varun Dhawan starrer Sui Dhaga. She will also be seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero.
