Panga: Kangana Ranaut and team wrap up shooting in Delhi for Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s film
After Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut is all set to wow the audience with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga. The Delhi schedule of the film has been wrapped up recently and, few pictures of the same are doing the rounds across the internet. Featuring stars like Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chadha, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi and Jassie Gill, Panga revolves around female kabaddi players and the trials they face. The first schedule of the film was shot in Bhopal.
Panga has been shot in over three cities already. It looks like an elaborate setup and the director agrees. "It's a long and big film. It is going to take its own sweet time to complete. It's also a big challenge for me as it's different. I am also learning new things every day to the extent of learning a little bit of kabaddi and breaking my leg. But it's also enjoyable," she said in an interview.
Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who is collaborating for the first time with actress Kangana Ranaut in the film Panga, earlier said they share a beautiful relationship and their love for each other will only increase as the shooting progresses. "Kangana and I share a beautiful relationship. I think I had one of the best times ever when I was shooting the first schedule of Panga and our love is just going to increase.
Panga stars Kangana Ranaut as a Kabaddi player. Also, the film will have Jassie Gill and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles. The first schedule of the film was shot in Bhopal and the look was also released a while back in which we could see Kangana with Jassie. The film is based on the life of a national level Kabaddi player and her triumphs and failures. Panga is helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and is being produced by Fox Star Studios. It is slated to release on January 24, 2020.
