Pahlaj Nihalani
The former head of Central Board of Film Certification, Pahlaj Nihalani has announced his new project. He is making a movie based on the life of Vijay Mallya and actor Govinda will be seen playing a pivotal role in it. In an interview to ANI, Nihalani revealed that he will be producing and directing the film.
He was quoted as saying, “I have made a movie inspired by the life of Vijay Mallya, and Govinda is in the main lead, audiences will be surprised to see his new avataar. The movie will be completely entertaining: Pahlaj Nihalani, producer & director.”
During his tenure as CBFC chief, Nihalani’s decisions were not welcomed by cinema lovers. It is yet to be seen if this new film spells magic on the audiences. Govinda has worked in many blockbuster movies. He is known for his dancing skills. Thus, it will be interesting to see how he slips into the character to llk convincing as Mallya on the silver screen.
Vijay has been absconding from India on charges of fraud and money laundering that amount to Rs 9,000 crore. In April 2017, he was arrested by the Scotland Yard.
