Actress Deepika Padukone is facing death threats by the various religious groups over her upcoming film Padmavati. The entire Bollywood has united and is supporting the lady except for one. Yes, if latest reports are to be believed actress Kangana Ranaut has refused to sign the petition initiated by veteran actress Shabana Azmi for Deepika’s protection. Speculations are rife that Shabana started Deepika Bachao campaign under which she took the sign of some renowned female actresses in the petition to PM Modi.

Kangana, who doesn’t share good rapport with Deepika, has reportedly refused point-blank. This left Shabana in shock. Well, it is yet to be seen if these reports are true.

This is known to all that both Kangana and Deepika had a cold war. In fact, in the recent set of leaked emails, the Queen actress also talked about the dimpled beauty. Well, it goes without saying that Kangana has all the reasons to be miffed with the film fraternity as nobody came out in her support when she was embroiled in a legal controversy with Hrithik Roshan.

On a related note, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus has been facing ire of the religious groups ever since it started to roll. The release date of Padmavati has been postponed. Along with Deepika, the movie also featured Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles.
