Ranveer’s social media fans are going gaga over his Padmavati look while some even mocked him for his terrifying getup. Ranveer was supposed to share his first look from Padmavati on Tuesday morning, but due to rumours of leak of his look, Ranveer chose to release the pic at 2am.
And soon after the release of the pic, fans were excited to see Ranveer in a dreadful avatar. Ranveer as Alauddin Khilji will be the lead antagonist in Padmavati. While Shahid Kapoor will essay Maharawal Ratan Singh, husband of Deepika Padukone in the film.
Recently while talking about his character Shahid said, ‘’When you are playing a king, you need to have a certain personality. At that time, the people used to not be very skinny and lean, so you need to have a manly personality. Basically for that, and to carry those outfits also, Sanjay sir (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) wanted me to be a little muscular and a little full. But I will be gaining weight in terms of muscle and not in terms of fat. This is because I am playing the character of a warrior. The Rajput kings had very strong personalities.”
Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures have jointly produced Padmavati. It features Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer in pivotal roles.
