Ranveer Singh's menacing look as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati amazed fans. We were left awestruck after seeing his stellar performance in the trailer. Everyone was simply bowled over by his portrayal of a dark character such as Khilji. The movie which is currently facing criticism from a section of society is gearing up for the December 1 release. Amidst all the controversies, the makers have unveiled a new poster of the movie featuring the antagonist, Ranveer. In the new poster, Ranveer is seated atop a throne with a crown on his head. That posture, those eyes and that expression look lethal. We are sure that Padmavati will be Ranveer's best performance so far. 

Today, a new song Ek Dil Ek Jaan featuring Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was also released. The romantic track gives us a glimpse of love between Maharawal Ratan Singh and Rani Padmini.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keeping the audience glued by launching posters and songs at regular intervals. The ace filmmaker who is skilled in creating period dramas has again stunned everyone with the royal costumes and lavish sets. His last release Bajirao Mastani featuring Ranveer and Deepika was a blockbuster.

Ranveer has currently two projects in pipeline- Gully Boy and Temper remake while Shahid Kapoor has started preparations for his next movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
