Actress Deepika Padukone has turned a year older today. Her fans and cinema lovers are showering their love on the actress and if latest reports are to be believed they are surely going to get their return gift. Speculations are rife that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati is likely to be released on February 9. If this happens then it is surely going to give sleepless nights to Anushka Sharma as her home production Pari is also releasing on the same date.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “Good news for @deepikapadukone fans on #HappyBirthdayDeepikaPadukone - #Padmavat most likely to release on Feb 9th!”
However, nothing official can be said as of now. The movie has been facing the ire of religious groups ever since its shooting started. Recently, CBFC passed Padmavati with U/A certificate and suggested the makers to change the title to Padmavat. However, Karni Sena is still firm at its decision and has threated to set ablaze the cinema halls screening the film. It has also demanded an ouster of newly-appointed CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi.
Apart from Deepika, the movie also features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. If these reports turn out to be true, then there are chances that the release date of Pari will be shifted to avoid the clash.
