After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Akshay Kumar will be seen in yet another social awareness film Padman. Today, the makers have released two new posters of the film featuring the leading ladies Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The Khiladi Kumar took to social media to reveal the new posters in the most chivalrous way. While the actor introduced Sonam as his ‘Strength’, Akshay welcomed Radhika as ‘Respect’. In Padman, the Jolly LLB 2 actor will be playing the role of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the mastermind behind low-cost sanitary pad making machine.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar shared Sonam Kapoor’s look in Padman and said, “The STRENGTH behind #PADMAN...find out on 26th January, 2018”.
In another tweet, he introduced Radhika Apte with a caption that read, “The REASON he became #PADMAN...find out on 26th January, 2018”.
Akshay Kumar’s Padman is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham. The new poster of the film is out and the noted film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the poster.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, Padman will also have Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in important roles. The movie is helmed by R. Balki and produced by Twinkle Khanna and Gauri Shinde. It will hit the theatres on 26th January 2017.
