The first poster of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Padman has released and is has left the movie buffs anticipated. Producer Twinkle Khanna has shared the first poster of the film informing about the release date. Padman is all set to hit the screens on April 13, next year. In the poster, Khiladi Kumar looks like a simpleton riding a bicycle with his hands up near the ghats. The poster has made the wait difficult for the film.
Twinkle took to micro-blogging site to share the poster. She tweeted, “Pad-up and get ready for MrsFunnybones Movies and R. Balki's Padman -April 13,2018 @akshaykumar @radhika_apte @sonamakapoor @kriarj.”
This is the maiden project of Twinkle’s production house. The movie is directed by R Balki. Along with Akshay, Padman also features Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
The movie is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented low-cost sanitary pad making machine in India.
Akshay will next be seen in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha alongside Bhumi Pednekar. The movie is slated to release on August 11.
