Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat has released and it goes without saying that the undying craze that people have for the film was visible in the cinema halls. People on social media are praising the film to heights and calling it a cinematic gem. The movie featured Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles. All the talented actors performed well but seems like Twitter is in awe of Ranveer.
The actor played the role of Alauddin Khilji in the film and left impact on movie buffs with his performance. It goes without saying that this is one of his finest performances. Deepika looked regal and according to people it is hard to imagine any other actress doing this role so effortlessly.
It seems that Twitter is in the support of the film and people are saying that there is nothing in Bhansali’s magnum opus that can hurt the religious sentiments of Rajputs.
The movie has been in controversies right from the beginning. Various religious groups did protests to ban the film alleging distortion of historical facts. But, now as the film has released, it is winning hearts.
To avoid the clash with Padmaavat, Bhansali requested Akshay Kumar to shift the date of his film Pad Man. The latter will now hit the screens on February 9.
