Padmaavat to Gold: These 8 Bollywood movies have made it to 100 crore club in 2018
2018 seems to be a promising year for Bollywood. Out of over 20 films released this year, at least eight have managed to enter the coveted 100 crore club. However, unlike the previous year, small-budget films seem to have taken over the Box Office this year. Several films hit the cinemas amid much expectation and hype. Right from horror to action drama to romantic comedy, movie buffs were treated to several film genres. However, only a few managed to impress the audience and raked in whopping moolah.

Sanju
The Rajkumar Hirani directorial Sanju is the most successful film of 2018 in terms of box-office. Sanju’s collection stands at Rs 342.52crore crossing PK’s Rs 340.8 crore. Now Sanju is the third biggest Indian movie of all time, only behind Baahubali: The Conclusion’s Rs 510.99 crore and Dangal’s Rs 387.38 crore.
Padmaavat
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor was released on January 25, 2018. The box-office collection of Padmaavat stands at Rs 302.15 crore.
Race 3
Race 3 boasted of an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Anila Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah. The action thriller is a stand-alone sequel to the hit franchise 'Race.' With the third installment, Salman replaced Saif Ali Khan who played the lead in first two films. Race 3 box-office collection stands at Rs 166.40
Baaghi 2
Baaghi 2 featuring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, which hit the cinemas on March 30, createdmagic at the box-office. The Ahmed Khan film surprised everyone by becoming one of the top opening grosser in the recent past. The film successfully entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in its first week. Baaghi 2 box-office collection stands at Rs 164.38 crore.
Raazi
Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi became one of the most successful films of 2018 after it crossed the Rs 100 crore mark recently. Raazi box-office collection stands at Rs 123.84
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety: Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in the lead won hearts at the box office and emerged as the third best opener of 2018 after Padmaavat and PadMan. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety box-office collection stands at Rs 108.95 crore.
Raid
Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn's last release Raid hit the jackpot and turned out to be a winner at the Box Office. Critics and fans have liked the film and given it a big thumbs up and, entered the 100-crore club with ease. Raid box-office collection stands at 103.07 crore.
Gold
After 13 days of release, Akshay Kumar’s latest film, Gold, has crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Gold box-office collection stands at Rs 100.45 crore and counting.
