Desi girl, Priyanka Chopra, graced the 89th Annual Academy Awards in a body-hugging, column gown by designer Ralph & Russo, as one of the presenter at Oscars.
It was Priyanka's second time at the Oscars, and once again the ‘Quantico’ star went for a white ensemble.
The gown was done with geometric details with a structured bodice giving a peek-a-boo glimpse of Priyanka's svelte figure. She paired her gown with towering ivory heels, and accessorised the look with the bare minimum, drawing complete focus to the dress.
While Priyanka’s look was largely lauded, her outfit has brought on some of the most hilarious comments from Twitterati. Priyanka’s ever-so-loyal fans complimented the actor for her outfit while others poked fun comparing her dress to an Indian sweet ‘kaju katli’. Some of her social media followers even mocked her outfit saying “When kaju katli is your life.’’
Meanwhile, one of the Priyanka’s social media follower, even warned the actress of being a victim of wardrobe malfunction. He wrote, “Be cautious of wardrobe malfunction Priyanka Chopra.”
Priyanka was not just trolled for her outfit but was mocked for her complete Oscars looks. PC’s follower even wrote, “You have so much money and you can't even afford a stylist? All that money and you still can't afford a dress that'd look well on yourself. And the hair looks so lame. Get with the times and do well with your carpet looks..”
Last year, Priyanka chose a white embellished strapless Zuhair Murad gown for the Oscars Awards.
