The box office battle of ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’ is the tough fight not only for the Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan but also for the exhibitors. The production house of both the movies are fighting to get the equal screens, this has become the big matter of concern for the exhibitors who have decided to give equal screens to both the movies.
The sources revealed that it was a big problem for the exhibitors in Delhi to provide equal show timing to both the movies as production houses were not compromising to get less screens.
It further added that Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ was also running and doing good but in order to provide equal shows to these two movies, they had to reduce its shows. As it is one of the biggest clashes of the year, and Republic Day round the corner, none of the productions houses are keen to take risk, thus are not settling for fewer screens.
It became difficult for the exhibitors who had to make and then cancel schedules several times to solve the problem.
The exhibitors have made it clear that as of now they are moving ahead with equal screens but have stated that there could be change in numbers looking at the popularity of both the movies.
‘Raees’ featured Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. On the other hand, ‘Kaabil’ narrates the story of two visually impaired people portrayed by Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam.
