Not just artistes, entire Pakistan should condemn terrorist attack: Rishi Kapoor

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor on Wednesday said that not just Pakistani artistes but the entire country should condemn the Uri terrorist attack instead of denying Islamabad’s hand.

Rishi Kapoor said entire Pakistan should condemn terror attacks

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor on Wednesday said that not just Pakistani artistes but the entire country should condemn the Uri terrorist attack instead of denying Islamabad’s hand. 

“Think. Why only Pakistani artists should condemn the terrorist attack? Whole of Pakistan should. After all they deny any hand in the Uri attack,” Rishi Kapoor wrote on his Twitter account. 

The actor, who is quite active on the social media, further wrote, “By not condemning and keeping quiet, you are confirming Pakistan as being the terrorists. Pakistan, if you are not guilty, condemn them! Simple.” 

His remarks came amid the growing demand to ban Pakistani artistes from Bollywood, following the terror attack at the Army base in Uri that led to te death of 19 Indian soldiers. 

The film isndustry seems to be divided over the issue, with stars talking for and against the issue. 

 

Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir had earlier in the said that he wants the people of Pakistan to remain sweet and beautiful no matter what the world think about their country.

Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will be seen together in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
