Not Akshay Kumar but this actor will play the lead in Namastey London's sequel?

Arjun Kapoor not Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the protagonist in Namastey London's sequel, according to reports.

The sequel of filmmaker Vipul Shah’s 2007 film Namastey London is on cards but this time it won’t be actor Akshay Kumar playing the lead. Latest reports suggest that actor Arjun Kapoor has replaced Khiladi Kumar in the sequel titled, Namastey England. Speculations are rife that Arjun is very happy with the script of the film and is keen to work in it. Namastey London featured actress Katrina Kaif opposite Akshay.

A source revealed that Arjun was the fan of Namastey London and was interested to become the part of its sequel. But, before it, he wanted to make sure that Akshay didn’t have any problem with it. This is known to all that the Jolly LLB 2 actor and Vipul are great friends and they have worked together in many movies. Source further added that last month, both Akshay and Vipul talked about it and decided to go ahead with Arjun.

If reports are anything to go by, film will start rolling in 2018 and will be shot in Punjab and the UK. The official announcement on the same is still awaited.

 

Namastey London played a prominent rule in the success of Akshay. Now, it will be interesting to see how different or similar Arjun’s character will look in the film.
