Sonakshi Sinha starrer Noor, which was highly praised by B-town celebs, failed to impress the audience.The romantic drama film collected Rs 1.54 crore on the first day of its release.
Noor hit the cinemas yesterday amid much excitement as people were looking forward to see the new avatar of Sonakshi as journalist. However, the film couldn’t make it big on its opening day.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and shared the first day box-office collection of Noor.
Directed by Sanhil Sippy, the movie is based on the Pakistani novel ‘Karachi, You're Killing Me’.
Sonakshi Sinha as Noor Roy Chowdhary is extremely conscious about her weight and unhappy with her crappy life. She has best friends Saad (Kanan Gill) and Zara (Shibani Dandekar) who stay with her in both good and bad times. Still, Noor is unhappy.
