Nikhil Dwivedi’s father passes away; Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan pay last respects, see pics

Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan attended the funeral of actor Nikhil Dwivedi’s father.

Actor Nikhil Dwivedi, who started his career in Bollywood in 2008 with My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves, lost his father on January 2. His father died after suffering from prolonged illness. The last ritual, which was held in Mumbai, was attended by actors Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Atul Agnihotri and his wife Alvira. The celebs were seen consoling the actor. It was indeed a tough time for him.

Abhishek also paid his last respects to Nikhil’s father. He was seen interacting with SRK.

Nikhil was last seen in the film Tamanchey alongside Richa Chadda in 2004. He is now co-producing Veere Di Wedding featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.

On a related note, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Anand L Rai’s upcoming project Zero. He will be sharing the screen space with actresses Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the film. The title and teaser of the film was unveiled recently.
