Akhshay Kumar’s latest release ‘Jolly LLB 2’ recently made headlines when it was embroiled in a legal controversy. The film is once again turning heads with the fresh entry of actress Sayani Gupta. Sayani Gupta is popular for essaying a role of a blind Pakistani Bangladeshi lesbian in the 2015 drama ???? (which drama???).
A graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India, Sayani Gupta made her acting debut with ‘Margarita, with a Straw’. She is essaying role of a pregnant woman in the Subash Kapoor directorial.
Sayani is essaying the role of Hina Siddiqui, a pregnant woman, who is married to Manav Kaul, a character in the movie.
‘Jolly LLB 2’ hit theatres today and by the looks of it Khiladi Kumar is once again set to woo his fans. Speculations are rife that after ‘Airlift’ he is once again prepared to leave a mark on his fans and could well be his fourth Rs 100 crore movie in a row.
The film is the sequel of 2013 film ‘Jolly LLB’ that not only heard good words from the audience but also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. But, as far as numbers are concerned, the film lacked there. The prequel had Arshad Warsi in the lead role.
Eyeing commercial success this time around, the film makers changed the protagonist and roped in Akshay for the lead role.
