Neetu Kapoor who is known for her roles in films such as Yaarana and Kabhie Kabhie, turned 59-year-old today. Son Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy promoting his film Jagga Jasoos, made sure that he was by his mother on her birthday. The actor arranged a small birthday bash for Neetu Kapoor in which he invited his family members. Husband Rishi Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and granddaughter Samara were also a part of the bash.
In fact, Babita Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s mother was also seen at the small gathering. Riddhima shared picture on Instagram and wrote, “Happiest bday mommy B day dinner.”
In the picture, the Jagga Jasoos actor looking handsome in a white shirt, seems happy to spend quality time with his family members. After all, Ranbir shares a very cordial relation with his mumma Neetu. Recently too, there was a buzz that Ranbir has agreed to marry a girl chosen by his parents Neetu and Rishi Kapoor. However, Junior RK rubbished the rumour and said that he will marry only for love and his parents will not stand in his way
Neetu Kapoor started acting at the age of 8 under the name Baby Sonia and appeared in a lot of films as a child artist. Her full-flegded role as an actor began since the film Rickshawala in 1973. As a lead actor, she appeared in 55 films, from 1973 to 1983. But decided to leave the industry after getting married to her many times co-star and actor Rishi Kapoor.
It was nothing short of a fairytale when Neetu and Rishi tied the knot and their reel romance turned real.
