Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor-starrer real-life inspired drama "Neerja" has continued its box office momentum in the third week by earning Rs 65.24 crore, surpassing the business of another woman-centric film "Mary Kom".
The movie, directed by Ram Madhvani, narrates the story of Neerja Bhanot, a senior flight attendant on board a Pan Am Mumbai-New York flight, who died while saving the lives of the passengers during the hijacking of the flight at Karachi airport in 1986.

The film is one of the biggest hits in Sonam's career and was released on February 19.
