After creating a lot of buzz with Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) which had suggested a total of 48 cuts in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, the hero of the bold film, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke his heart out on India TV’s show Aap Ki Adalat.

Talking about his struggles, Nawazuddin said because of his dark, short and not-so-impressive looks, it was not easy for him to get an entry into the film industry. He was often rejected in all the fields, but he never gave up. He said that he never felt depressed or disheartened, but continued his hard work.

Later, talking in detail about his forthcoming film Baabumoshai Bandookbaaz, Nawazuddin said that earlier the film team faced a lot of problems in getting clearance from the board. CBFC had suggested as many as 48 cuts in the film, then they went to the tribunal and the film was cleared with only 8 minor cuts. He expressed his happiness.

While talking about his intimate scenes in Baabumoshai Bandookbaaz, Nawazuddin said he usually gets nervous while doing lip-locks onscreen.

When he was asked if actress Chitrangada Singh refused to do intimate scene with him due to his odd looks, Nawazuddin said that there are chances that a thought like this might have surfaced in her mind. She later left the film.
