Cricketers turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, who recently resigned as a Member of Parliament ( Rajya Sabha), may quit the popular comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ (TKSS).
New reports suggest that Navjot might take this step to revamp his image which is more inclined towards as a TV personality than a serious politician.
“There's a lot of pressure on Sidhu Paaji to quit our show. We've heard that Paaji has been instructed to stop participating in the comedy show, as he needs to revamp his image,”
a source close to Sony channel on which the show airs was quoted by a leading daily.
Ever since comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma started a show, Sidhu has been an integral part of it. When Kapil left Colors after an ugly battle, Sidhu did too. He joined Kapil and his on screen family for the new show.
