Nargis Fakhri, who wowed us with her performances in films such as Rockstar and Main Tera Hero, was recently slammed for her weight gain. Several people went to say to that the actress was indeed pregnant. Now, Nargis has herself come to the forefront to clear the air. Taking a jibe at the pregnancy rumours she confirmed that she is not expecting a baby. Nargis was spotted with what looked like a baby bump at the airport in Mumbai on Friday.
In some photographs on social media, the actress can be seen hiding her face from the paparazzi. However, she took to Twitter to clarify that her weight gain is just because of eating.
"Here you go. I'll do the job for you. And no I'm not pregnant. Ok maybe it's a hamburger baby. But, don't tell the hamburglar," Nargis wrote alongside a photograph of herself. She also shared a screenshot of the dress from fashion label Zadig & Voltaire.
In a recent interview, Nargis Fakhri revealed last month that she had gained 40 pounds and said she likes to stay away from limelight when she is not working. "I don't care or give a damn about criticism. We are too much in limelight. So, during my downtime I like to be relaxed and not focus on these things. "If someone thinks that I will get busted with trolls or criticism... Sorry, but it is not going to happen," Nargis told PTI on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017.
The 37-year-old actor, who was last seen in "Azhar", says she is fine with fewer but interesting films. "I like being in an incognito mode until I have an opportunity to be back with a bang." Nargis walked for designer Anushree Reddy on the fourth day of the fashion extravaganza.
