Actor Nana Patekar has expressed his sorrow over the ongoing farmers strike. He stated that in order to help farmers, people from all walks of life should come forward and make efforts. The actor through Naam foundation, has helped many farmers in the past.
Nana said that it is sad to see famers on strike in order to lead their life. He added that people should work together to help farmers. Marathi actor Makarand Anaspure, who works with Nana to provide aid to the kin of farmers said that all political parties should work together to help them.
The strike has resulted to the hike in prices of vegetables due to which common people are facing troubles.
Along with helping farmers Nana Patekar’s Naam foundation has also provide financial help to the family of soldiers, who lost their life fighting for the country.
On the work front, Nana will be seen playing a pivotal role Rajinikanth upcoming film Kaala Karikaalan, which also starred actress Huma Qureshi. The movie will be helmed by Pa. Ranjith.
