Actress Mouni Roy has mesmerised viewers with her acting skills and gorgeous looks. Luckily for her fans, they will see two versions of her in the second season of the show ‘Naagin’. According to media reports Mouni will have double role in the supernatural drama.
Media reports have it that Mouni will play both the mother Shivanya and daughter Shivangi in the second season. This will not be the first time that an actor will play double roles in the serial. Earlier, the lead actor of the show Arjun Bijlani too was seen in two avatars, playing father and son.
Apart from Mouni, the show also features Aashka Goradia, Sudha Chandran and Adaa Khan.

‘Naagin’ has been a breath of fresh air to the otherwise monotonous television industry. The concept of ikchadaari (shape-shifting) snakes has been widely exploited in Hindi cinema but it was untouched in the TV world, until now.
In the first season of the show (Ritik) Arjun Bijlani brings Shivaanya (Mouni Roy ) home, oblivious to the fact that she is an ikchadaari naagin seeking revenge from his family. The first season showed their love story and how Shivanya schemed to kill people who murdered her parents (Ritik’s family).
The last episode ended with a twist of Ritik and Shivanya having a baby. The birth of the baby and its tumultuous life is what will form the skeleton of the second season.
