Housefull actor Lara Dutta Bhupathi posted a photo on Twitter showing how she stopped water from seeping into her house by putting some grand slam towels to "good use".

As four days of heavy rains inundated India’s financial capital Mumbai, people are facing a lot of problems. In order to prevent water from seeping into their houses, people are using innovative measures or “jugaad” and, Bollywood actress Lara Dutta also did something that didn’t didn't go down well with her husband, tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi. The Partner actress used her husband’s Grand Slams towels to stop the rainwaters from entering their home in Mumbai. Lara posted the picture of how she used Bhupati’s towels from important tournaments and posted on social media, which horrified her husband.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Lara Dutta shared the rather amusing picture with a caption that read, “Putting our Wimbledon,US Open, Aus Open &French Open towels to good use!@Maheshbhupathi #MumbaiRain.Stay safe & indoors if possible folks!”. Check out the trending picture right here.

To which, husband Mahesh Bhupathi replied, “Are u kidding me! That's years of hard work”. 

On the work front, Lara Dutta will play the role of a single mother in her second home production. The actress will be uniting with actor Vinay Pathak for the untitled project to be helmed by the National Award-winning director Sushil Rajpal. Interestingly, Vinay also featured in Lara’s home production Bheegi Basanti Entertainment's debut film Challo Dilli.

The 39-year-old actress, who was crowned Miss Universe in the year 2000, will also mentor aspiring candidates for the annual contest of Miss Diva - Miss Universe India 2017.
