The controversial socialite and writer Shobhaa De is all over the news now and then for her infamous tweets. Recently, the lady fat-shamed a policeman on Twitter which didn’t go well with people, and now Mumbai Police has a befitting reply to Ms De’s “funny” post.
The bestselling author tried to put her humour into action, and posted a picture of an obese policeman with a caption that read “Heavy police bandobast in the city today!”
The Mumbai Police was quick to reply as they also took to Twitter and said, “We love puns too Ms. De but this one is totally misplaced. Uniform/official not ours. We expect better from responsible citizens like you.”
As soon as the police posted the tweet, a huge number of people responded and took to the micro-blogging site to express their utmost happiness.
While the Twitteratis lauded the police, they didn’t spare Shobhaa De at all and spewed tons of criticisms against the socialite.
