Actor Sushant Singh Rajput will soon bring on screen the iconic life of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The reel and the real Dhoni launched the trailer of M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story in Delhi on Thursday.
At the event, fans went berserk to see both the stars share a podium and speak about the movie. At the trailer launch, Dhoni and Sushant were seen at their candid best. While Sushant spoke about the stories during filming, Dhoni had a lot to say about his career.
Portraying the star cricketer would definitely not have been easy for Sushant. Perfecting Dhoni’s antics on the field was one thing Sushant must have found challenging. The actor speaking about the effort he put into the movie said that he can now play Ranji Trophy’s matches as well.
“Maine itna cricket khela hai ki mohalle waaley toh choriye, abhi Ranji trophy waaley bolenge toh bhi hum chakkey maar denge ( I have played so much cricket in the film that now if they ask me to play Ranji trophy I will easily hit sixes, let alone in the gully cricket),”
Sushant reportedly said.

Talking about his love for the sport, Sushant said that he has always played cricket.
"I had been playing cricket passionately since childhood. One of my sisters was a professional cricketer. Playing this game again after years and that too with professional training under the guidance of ex-wicket keeper of India is very magical. Now, I can see the ball moving. Also, if you now tell me to throw a helicopter shot toh main araam se maar lunga (Now, if you will ask me to play the helicopter shot, I will do that easily),"
a proud Sushant said.
