One look at the trailer of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and it justifies all the frenzy created around the movie. For quite some months now, the makers are doing all they can to give this movie quite a mileage in media, from the hyped first look launch to the unveiling of teaser; and looks like all the noise created around it, was worth it.
Amidst the same pomp and show, the trailer of the movie was launched today. At the launch, reel met real as the star captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself was present.
The trailer stars off with a young complaining Dhoni (Sushant Singh Rajput) refusing to settle down as a ticket checker (TC) at the Kharagpur junction. It then catches pace revealing minute details about his life; like how his goalkeeping impressed his school’s cricket coach, how he was never given a chance to bat against strong teams and how his father wanted him to just be a TC.

Sushant deserves an applause for getting into the skin of the character, whether it is the Ranchi boy dialect or the way he walks on the field.
The trailer points out that the movie is going to be a treat for all cricket lovers. It also suggests that one might hate Dhoni, but they will surely respect his journey from a small town boy to one of the most successful captains of Indian cricket team.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey the movie will release on September 30.
