It is a common sight that after a movie flops, blame game begins. Reports of people associated with the project getting miffed with each other start doing rounds of media. A similar case may have just happened with Hrithik Roshan’s much talked about project ‘Mohenjo Daro’.

Based on the Indus Valley Civilisation, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ did not fare well at the box office. By the end of the first week it earned close to Rs 52 crores and the days ahead at the box office doesn’t look promising either.

Such a bland reception of the period drama at the box office has reportedly made director Ashutosh Gowariker miffed with the production house UTV. Media reports have it that Ashutosh is miffed with UTV for not letting him make few cuts in the trailer.

Now it is not hidden that a movie’s trailer is what increases or diminishes the excitement among cine buffs about it. Ashutosh reportedly wanted to see it himself as to what goes in the trailer, but UTV decided on outsourcing this task to a third party. A company called Trigger Happy Entertainment Company took care of the trailer.

When Ashutosh asked the producers to not do so, he was reportedly asked to concentrate on the post production of the movie.

A source told a leading daily,

“UTV did a very unfair thing. At the end of the day, it was not their solo production. Ashutosh's wife Sunita was also one of the producers.”

It should not be forgotten how the trailer of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ drew flak, something which may have affected the movie’s collections.
