New Delhi: Actor Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ has been the talk of the town for a while now.
The movie, starring Hrithik Roshana and Pooja Hegde, is a periodical drama and has created a rage amongst the audience with its trailer.
But apart from the interesting story like and amazing star cast, what else it creating a buzz about ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is its clash with Akshay Kumar’s much awaited movie ‘Rustom’.
Both the movies are slated to release on August 12. But looks like Ashutosh is quited unfazed by the big clash and feels both the films should be a superhit.
“The thought did come to our mind that the films will clash and box office will get affected, but then even 'Sholay' and 'Jai Santoshi Maa' released on same date and 'Jai Santoshi Maa' was a bigger hit because its cost of recovery was higher.
“'Lagaan' and 'Gaddar' had released on the same date too. So, I feel 'Mohenjo Daro' should also work and 'Rustom' should also work. Both the films should be superhits.”
Talking about “Mohenjo Daro”, Gowariker said, “Language was a difficult topic for this film. We thought we will have a blend of a bit of Sindhi, a bit of Hindi and it creates the feeling of the old world. I didn't want the audience to get alienated... Everybody should understand it.”
The movie is an epic adventure-romance, set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation.
