Since he doesn’t hit fours and sixes on field these days, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag does the same off it. Viru, has been entertaining his fans through his Twitter timeline. From the micro-blogging website today he took a hilarious dig at the upcoming movie ‘Mirzya’.
To joke about the ‘Mirzya’, he tweeted that the movie is just like Ashish Nehra’s bowling. He wrote, ‘Bowling me Nehra ji, love stories me Mehra ji’ on his Twitter account.
For those who didn’t understand, Sehwag is known to make fun of Ashish Nehra’s bowling. So by likening Nehra and Mehra, he made fun of ‘Mirzya’.

Well, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is not known to make love stories. Rakeysh has been praised for making movies like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ etc., and if one goes by Viru’s dig, it seems the ace filmmaker did not do a good job at it.

Starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher in lead, ‘Mirzya’ is an adaptation of the famous folk tale of Mirza and Sahibaan. The two lovers were united in heaven after arrows of Sahibaan’s brothers pierced through Mirza’s heart.
The movie marks the debut of these two actors. Earlier celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan had sent best wishes to the team of ‘Mirzya’.
