Milan Talkies Trailer: Ali Fazal, Shraddha Srinath’s love story is loaded with Bollywood cliches
Bollywood’s power-packed filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia is back is another soul-touching story called Milan Talkies that star Alia Fazal and Shraddha Srinath is lead roles. The film has been in the making for a long time now and was supposed to go on floors with Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra initially, However, the actor back out from the film and it was said that Imran Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur might do it. Now, the film’s trailer is finally out with Ali Fazal and Shraddha Srinath in it. While Ali has already proved his acting mettle through a number of performances, Shraddha has been working in the South industry for a while now.
Talking about the trailer, it has everything that a classic Bollywood film entail. The video starts with Ali Fazal delivering the most popular Dilip Kumar dialog to an audience as he wants to become the biggest actor-director in the country. What happens next is he falls in love and is flooded with a number of obstacles to win his lady love, not to forget the girl’s brother’s dynamic entry. Ali’s father’s role is played by Tigmanshu Dhulia himself and he aces his craft as always. Watch the trailer here-
Earlier while talking about his character and the film, Ali Fazal revealed, "I've breathed and lived cinema since I was a kid. I realised this passion as a career in adulthood. My research was on the edit table of three iconic films of 2018 that have done exceptionally well." He further added, "Much of what you see in the film is a young Tigmanshu Dhulia on the sets maybe. His mannerisms are infectious and his style is nothing short of coolness. For an actor to have his director as an inspiration is the beginning of an education. I am still to learn lots from him."
