New Delhi: Bollywood movie ‘Sarbjit’ has created a lot of buzz since beginning. Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, the movie is based on an Indian farmer who wanders into Pakistan and is imprisioned.
‘Sarbjit’ shows the struggle of a sister to prove his brother’s innocence, a struggle which lasted for over two decades.
The entire nation was moved by Sarbjit and Dalbir’s story and the biopic has recreated the emotional journey.
Thrilled by Dalbir’s painful struggle, singer Mika Singh recently honoured the brave lady with a ‘khanda’ on a reality show.
But there’s something else that’s creating the buzz. As per the media reports, Mika has promised Dalbir to bear all the wedding expenses of Sarbjit’s younger daughter Poonam.

Everyone has an emotional connect with Sarbjit and Dalbir, singer Mika Singh has more of a personal connection with her struggle.
Mika’s elder brother Shamsher had met Dalbir and was even a part of her struggle while she did a protest at Jantar Mantar.
Indeed, Mika has observed Kaur’s struggle a little more closer and his kind act has touched the hearts of millions including Dalbir, Aishwarya and Randeep who were all teary-eyed post the singer’s announcement.
Helmed by Omung Kumar, ‘Sarbjit’ will hit the screens on May 20, 2016.
