Bollywood actors Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao, who’re critically-acclaimed for their acting skills, come together for a film Mental Hai Kya. As the title is suggestive, Mental Hai Kya is a psychological-thriller, helmed by Prakash Kovelmaudi and Kanika Dhillon. The couple is coming together for the second time after Queen. Ekta Kapoor shared the first look of the film on her social media. The movie is expected to go on floors this month.

In an interview, Kangana Ranaut spilt beans on Mental Hai Kya. According to the actress, the story is about a woman who could be a murderer or a mentally-ill person. It revolves around mental health but with light-hearted overtones.
Ekta Kapoor, Balaji Motion Pictures’ founder, also said, “Mental Hai Kya celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, Sanity is overrated!”
Prakash Kovelamudi is the son of veteran Telegu filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, who helmed several Telegu and Hindi films starring Jeetendra, Sridevi and Jaya Prada in the 80s.
Kangana Ranaut is also shooting for the period movie Manikarnika, which is a biopic of Laxmibai of Jhansi.
